The faucet is fixed on the basin, sink, and other positions through the fixed parts, the water enters the control part through the water inlet hose, and then we adjust the water temperature and water volume through the control part, and finally, the water flows out through the water outlet, and the operation process is probably like this.

There are many kinds of water outlet parts, including ordinary water outlets, rotatable water outlets with elbows, pull-out water outlets, waterfall water outlets, etc. When purchasing a faucet, pay attention to the size of the basin and sink into consideration.

Second, the structure type

If it is divided according to the structure, the faucet can be divided into a single type, double type, and triple type. In addition, there are single handle and double handle points (also called single control and dual control).

· Single type: can be connected to a cold water pipe or hot water pipe;

· Double type: It can connect two hot and cold pipes at the same time, and is mostly used in the faucet of the bathroom vanity and the kitchen sink with hot water supply; (Andy's family uses this)

· Triple type: In addition to connecting the two pipes of hot and cold water, it can also be connected to the showerhead, mainly used for the faucet of the bathtub.

Single handle: adjust the temperature of hot and cold water through one handle;

· Double handle: The cold water pipe and the hot water pipe need to be adjusted separately to adjust the water temperature.

The double handle faucet adjusts the water volume and temperature through two handles for hot and cold water supply.

3. Automatic faucet

Also called a touchless faucet. Sensors under the spout detect the proximity of hands and dishes to control the discharge of water, and the faucet stops automatically when it leaves. There is also a type, just put your hand on the upper part of the faucet, the sensor will sense the water, and stop the water when you repeat the action.

The smart sensor faucets in these two situations can control the water flow even if both hands are occupied because they do not need to be operated by the handle. During cooking and cleaning, it can also avoid oil stains or foam on the hands from sticking to the sewage faucet.

However, the sensor technology of this type of faucet on the market is not very mature, and sometimes there is a problem that the faucet does not sense and does not produce water.

4. Touch switch faucet

The switch at the top controls the drain-type faucet. Touch with hand or the back of the wrist, easy to operate even when both hands are occupied.

In the cooking process, the hand will stain the handle, and this type of faucet is only touched by the palm, fingers, back of the hand. And because it can stop water with one click, it has the advantage of water-saving.

5. Special faucet for water purification (pre-water filter)

In addition to hot and cold water faucets, some families will also be equipped with "water purifier faucets", also known as waterway protectors.

It is usually installed behind the water meter to filter sediment, rust, and large particles in the tap water, preventing a large number of precipitated impurities in the water network from causing harm to the human body, and pre-protecting the damage to the wading equipment installed on the water pipe. effect.
